MalcolmGILBYAged 90 passed away at Sunderland Royal Hospital on Thursday 2nd January with his loving family by his side.

Born Silksworth, Sunderland. Moved to Staffordshire to start his career then Congleton. Worked at English Electric, Kidsgrove and was a regular player in the Rode Hall Silver Band. Moved north in 1973 to Houghton Le Spring, Co. Durham.

A devoted Husband, reunited at last with his beloved Wife Gladys. Malcolm was a truly special Dad to his four children and their partners, Paul & Fran, Ian & Elise, Jackie & Steve and Alison and he will be deeply missed from our lives. He was a loving Brother to Margaret, Valerie and the late Joyce. A treasured Grandfather to Lauren, Alice and Harry.

The funeral service will take place at Sunderland Crematorium, on Tuesday, 4th February at 3:00pm.
